Dota 2 takes its name from the Warcraft III mod Defense of the Ancients, a drastic change to that stock real-time strategy title, which pits two teams of five players against each other in highly competitive, 40-minute or longer matches. Unlike most RTSes, DotA has each player controlling a single hero who levels up and stockpiles gold to purchase powerful equipment and consumables. As computer-controlled armies continually spawn and rush the enemy's base, players are responsible for using their powerful heroes to turn the tide of the battle in their favor.
DotA 2 Minimum System Requirements:
* OS: Windows® 7 / Vista / Vista64 / XP
* Processor: Pentium 4 3.0GHz
* Memory: 1 GB for XP / 2GB for Vista
* Graphics: DirectX 9 compatible video card with 128 MB, Shader model 2.0. ATI X800, NVidia 6600 or better
* Hard Drive: At least 2.5 GB of free space
* Sound: DirectX 9.0c compatible sound card
DotA 2 Recommended System Requirements:
* OS: Windows® 7 / Vista / Vista64 / XP
* Processor: Intel core 2 duo 2.4GHz
* Memory: 1 GB for XP / 2GB for Vista
* Graphics: DirectX 9 compatible video card with Shader model 3.0. NVidia 7600, ATI X1600 or better
* Hard Drive: At least 2.5 GB of free space
* Sound: DirectX 9.0c compatible sound card

If beta will mean there will still bugs right. Well i think it is enjoyable based on the pics. But what would the difference.

yes someone told me there are still bugs in the game so we just have to wait for updates if it would be released soon

almost like LOL- league of legends
..gud graphics other character changes look at weaver or doombringer they look diffrent
from dota
.. everything changes anyway thats why its dota 2 hehehe..

i guess this would be better than LoL and also this is the original defense of the ancients
they just copied the idea we'll just wait for the release i think it would be release early next year

no clue yet there are rumors but not sure.

there are rumors that it would be release early nextyear but that is not sure i check the site and they are still testing for some bugs 2 games to be anticipated next year from blizzard that's what you call a package ;D
