It is similar to pc because it have its own OS or operating system. Well that will be the disadvantage symbian low spec.

@rada: haha iOS not here LOL, but it is good since i see that now the truly competitor in mobie OS is ANdroid and iOS, but even that is the title my vote goes to Android

Android is one of the most widely used os, especially in commercial and consumer services.

It could have been better if Android and iOS. Symbian would no longer be competitive in terms of mobile phone OS. Its kind of outdated in my opinion.

well for me android is way better than symbian..... currently using gingerbread.... and looking forward for next android OS....

to problem on android is upgrading from prev. Ver. To the new once like your gingerbread to the latest os ice cream sandswich is imposible.
And at android you need to r0ot vpn to have free internet.
gingerbread is not upgradable to ice cream sandwich.
